Students in the Religious Education and Community Pedagogics program can focus on international, intercultural and interreligious issues in their studies. For this purpose, designated modules with an interrelation are to be studied and examinations in this field are to be taken. Normally, from the 2nd semester onwards, at least one module with an international focus should be studied in each semester and completed with an examination. In addition, the practical semester must be studied abroad and the BA thesis must be written on a topic with international, intercultural or interreligious content. If the requirements are fulfilled and at least 30 ECTS with an international profile have been studied, students will receive their own additional certificate showing the international focus in addition to their BA certificate.
