eh Brass
The Brass Ensemble of the Protestant University of Applied Sciences Ludwigsburg
28 years ago, the brass ensemble of the EH emerged from a course for students and interested brass players with the aim of establishing brass work at a high level for worship and concert use. Programs range from chorale arrangements and modern settings to jazz and film music and are performed on a wide variety of occasions. For example, eh Brass has been playing its own concerts and programs for many years at large municipal events such as the weekly market concerts, Christmas market concerts, at the castle anniversary, in various church congregations and large events of the evangelische Landeskirch, the service in the green, in a wide variety of institutions such as the prison in Stammheim and numerous other occasions. The direction of the LV and the ensemble lies with the retired professor, Hubertus von Stackelberg.

Studying at the Protestant University of Applied Sciences Ludwigsburg is more than attending seminars and lectures, writing papers and a Bachelor's thesis, because: There is the students' congregation (Hochschulegemeinde)!!!

The program is designed by students and planned together at the Forum Hochschulgemeinde (Forum HSG).

The regular offers of the students' congregation (Hochschulgemeinde) are:
- Wednesday devotions currently 11.20 - ca.11.40 a.m. in H2 Building C, organized by students, lecturers and guests
- "Heart Center" services: a regular service offered by students for all students and residents of Karlshöhe - warm invitation to participate in the preparation team
- Tuesday program - HSG evening: Theme evenings, festive activities and events ranging from Advent night to dance classes and discussion forums
- BBK (Brüder-Bräu-Keller): student pub to relax in the Brüderhaus. Opening hours: Monday 21 - 1 h and Thursday 21 to 1 h

Initiative Group Students of the Karlshöher Diakonieverband
Who are we? The Initiativgruppe (IG) Studierende is a group within the Karlshöher Diakonieverband (Karlshöher Diaconate Association), which is especially concerned with the interests of the students of the diaconate study programs (Diaconal Science and Religious and Community Education) at the Evangelische Hochschule Ludwigsburg. All diaconate students at the EH can become members of IG Studierende.
What do we do?
The IG Studierende
- ...is the contact for diaconate students in all matters concerning the diaconate.
- ...represents the interests of these students towards the EH and the Karlshöher Diaconal Association
- ...supports the diaconal association in the contact between deacons in the profession and diaconate students, among other things through the exchange rounds
- ...promotes fellowship and exchange between the different cohorts in the diaconate study programs.
