A central task of international social work is to demand social justice through social participation and equal opportunities. Through the International Social Work degree program, you will acquire the skills to work with individuals, groups, and the community in a global context to establish social, economic, and political participation and achieve sustainability.

Upon graduation from the B.A. International Social Work program, you will have acquired membership in a human rights profession, meaning that you are empowered to advocate for people and for their rights. You can express this by means of all the competencies acquired in the degree program as an advocacy representative. Acting in an international context is always linked to the theory and practice references of postcolonialization.

The study of social work with an international and intercultural perspective is particularly suitable for prospective students who have a desire to get to know other cultures and nationalities more closely and / or who have a multicultural background and want to use this as a resource.
