International Social Work B.A.
The international study programs of the Protestant University of Applied Sciences Ludwigsburg are an essential part of the international profile of the university. In particular, with the International Social Work B.A. program, in which 60 ECTS credits must be earned abroad, the university specifically trains its graduates to work in international fields of work.
In the International Social Work program, twelve of the total 28 modules are designed as international modules. Each of these 12 modules includes a compulsory seminar for students of the International Social Work program. In these mandatory seminars, there is a strong emphasis on international issues relevant to discourses on human rights and social justice worldwide. Of the 12 international modules, nine offer seminars in English since winter semester 2018-19. Seminars offered in English as part of the ISA program are also attended by "incoming" students from abroad as well as other students of the Evangelische Hochschule in the regular Social Work B.A./Diaconal Studies B.A./Religious Education B.A. programs.
