HISinOne

With the HISinOne portal, you as a student are optimally guided in the planning and execution of your studies. You can maintain parts of your master data online, e.g. your semester address, find out about your grades, re-register and print out certificates yourself, e.g. study certificates. You can register for courses and exams via the online course catalog.

Detailed descriptions of the procedure can be found here:

  • I have forgotten my user ID/password. What can I do? Contact the e-learning team at elearning(at)eh-ludwigsburg.de or call 07141-9745-270. Students on the Reutlingen campus can contact the Student Secretariat at campusreutlingen(at)eh-ludwigsburg.de or call 07121-271 8500.
  • How and where can I register for courses? All courses are registered via the campus management system HISinOne. There you can select the appropriate courses within the enrollment period using the module planner. If you are admitted to the event, you can attend it. Here you will find instructions and further information. Enrollment in Moodle courses proceeds independently. Some instructors use Moodle to provide content support for their courses. In that case, you will receive an enrollment key from the instructor to access the course. This has no influence on the registration in HISinOne.
  • How can I enroll in additional courses? You can voluntarily enroll in additional courses over and above your planned course schedule. The booking is also done via the campus management system HISinOne. There you can apply for a place in the additional courses in an extra booking period (after the "normal" booking). To do this - in contrast to the normal booking - do not go to the course overview via your study planner, but via "Studienangebot" > "Vorlesungsverzeichnis anzeigen" > "Zusatzangebote". Select the additional course you are interested in and then click on "enroll".
  • How do I get a certificate of enrollment? You can print out your certificate of enrollment and other certificates yourself. Log in to the HISinOne portal and navigate in the menu "My studies" to "Study services". There you will find the corresponding files. Here are instructions on how to do this.
  • How can I view my grades? You can view your grades yourself in the HISinOne portal. To do so, log in to the portal and navigate in the menu "My studies" to "My achievements". Here you will find instructions on how to do this.
  • I have moved, where can I change the address I entered? Log into HISinOne, under "My studies" click on "Study services". There you can change and save your address and other data yourself in the tab "Contact data". (If you want to change your name, e.g. after marriage, you will find the procedure explained in the IT-FAQs).

Here you will find instructions and explanations for working with HISinOne:

  • What is the difference between Moodle and HISinOne? HISinOne is the university's campus management system, which is used to administer studies. For example, students apply, enroll in courses, and print out their enrollment certificate or grade account. As a teacher, you can use it to view the courses you are holding and, for example, print out lists of participants or send e-mails to all enrolled students. Instructions are available hereMoodle, on the other hand, is a digital learning platform. It offers you the possibility to enrich your classroom teaching with e-learning components or even to hold entire online units. For example, you can make materials (files, videos, further links) available on Moodle for students to use to prepare for or follow up on the course.
  • How can I display an overview of my courses? Log into HISinOne with your access data. Then select the tab "Teaching organization" and click on the option "Show my lecturer schedule". You will now see a kind of timetable for the courses you offer. Make sure that you select the correct semester and a view that suits you (e.g. weekly view/semester view/...).
