The Rectorate consists of the Rector, the Prorector and the Chancellor.
Rector - Prof. Dr. Norbert Collmar
The rector represents the university externally, determines the guidelines for the work of the university's rectorate and chairs the rectorate. The rector shall exercise the powers conferred by the Oberkirchenrat as the supervisor of the university. The Rector is appointed by the Oberkirchenrat from among the professors for a term of six years on the recommendation of the Senate, taking into account the opinion of the Board of Trustees.
