The Baden-Württemberg-STIPENDIUM is a program of the Baden-Württemberg Stiftung. Since 2001 the Baden-Württemberg Stiftung has supported the international exchange of students and young vocationally qualified people by awarding the Baden-Württemberg-STIPENDIUM. The Baden-Württemberg-STIPENDIUM, awarded by the Baden-Württemberg Stiftung, enables both young people from Baden-Württemberg to spend some time abroad and invites foreign scholarship holders to get to know Baden-Württemberg. For this purpose they receive a monthly scholarship for the time of your stay.
Please contact the international office for information about application deadlines. Applications should include the following documents:
- Motivation letter
- Resumé (according to Europass guidline)
- Letters of Reference
- Certificate of achieved Study Results
Decisions on who will receive a scholarship are based on academic awards, social and intercultural competencies, personal motivation. Applications have to be submitted in the online-portal of the Baden-Württemberg-Stiftung. Mandatory fields have to be filled in. You can get access to the portal here. After a preselection by an admission committee at the Protestant University of Applied Science in Ludwigsburg, the Baden-Württemberg Stiftung will make the final decision.
Who can apply for this scholarhip?
The regional development component to the Baden-Württemberg-STIPENDIUM is a scholarship for excellent or very good international exchange students from
- African, Carribean and Pacific (ACP) countries
- Least Developed Countries (LDCs) as well as
- Bolivia, Columbia, India, Palestine, Peru, Venezuela and Vietnam
who wish to study at a university in Baden-Württemberg.
Excellent and very good students from universities in Baden-Württemberg who wish to study at a university in one of the above-mentioned countries can also receive this scholarship.
